Terms of Service

Effective date: 21 June 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KopiLens platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by KopiLens ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use KopiLens. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep your account details up to date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. 3. Use of the Service

You agree to use KopiLens only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service without permission
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

4. Subscription and Payments

Certain features of KopiLens may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and payment terms will be presented to you at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, trademarks, and design elements of the Service are owned by KopiLens and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain full ownership of all business data, content, and materials you upload to the platform ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a licence to host, store, and display it solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KopiLens and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to KopiLens in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KopiLens, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or our business. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at kopilenssg@gmail.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
